## Abstract Partial reduction of the acetylenic precursor 1 with carrier‐free tritium gas in the presence of Lindlar catalyst gave the highly labelled __cis__‐allylic alcohol 2. Tritium was thus contained in the metabolically stable 13,14‐position of the lower side chain. Elaboration of 2 via a fou
