Abstract
Four crystalline vitamin A~2~ isomers, i.e. all‐trans, 13‐cis, 9‐cis, and 9,13‐di‐cis, as well as the corresponding acids and aldehydes, have been prepared from cis‐ and trans‐dehydro‐β‐ionylideneacetaldehyde.

## Abstract A cyclic hexadepsipeptide containing alternatively N‐methyl‐L‐isoleucine and D‐α‐hydroxy‐isovaleric acid (Fig. 1) has been synthesized. It proved to be identical with Enniatin A, a microbiologically active metabolite isolated in 1947 from __Fusarium oxysporum__ SCHLECHT.
