Abstract
The structure of factor V~1a~ has been elucidated as cobyrinic acid abcdeg‐hexamide. The main proof consists in its conversion into factor B, effected by treating the mixed anhydride from factor V~1a~ and ethyl hydrogen carbonate with racemic and with optically active 1‐amino‐2‐propanol.
