✦ Synopsis

Abstract

N‐TFA‐γ‐L‐glutamyl‐hypoglycin A α‐ethyl ester was prepared by coupling N‐TFA‐L‐glutamic acid α‐ethyl ester with hypoglycin A according to the mixed anhydride method, using isobutyl chlorocarbonate. After removal of the protecting groups the resulting γ‐L‐glutamyl‐hypoglycin A was found to be identical with natural hypoglycin B.
