Der heteronukleare Dreikernkomplex [(n-Bu) 4 N] 2 [{(THF)Cl 4 ReϵN} 2 PtCl 2 ] (1a) entsteht bei der Reaktion von [(n-Bu) 4 N][ReNCl 4 ] mit [PtCl 2 (C 6 H 5 CN) 2 ] in THF/CH 2 Cl 2 in Form roter, solvathaltiger Kristalle. Er kristallisiert als 1a • 2 CH 2 Cl 2 in der tetragonalen Raumgruppe I4 1 /a mit a ϭ 3186,7(2); c ϭ 1311,2(1) pm und Z ϭ 8. Bei der Umsetzung der Edukte ohne Zusatz von THF bildet sich bei Luftzutritt [(n-Bu) 4 N] 2 [{(H 2 O)Cl 4 ReϵN} 2 PtCl 2 ] (1b) in Form roter, trigonaler Kristalle mit der Raumgruppe R3
¯und a ϭ 3628,3(3), c ϭ 1231,4(1) pm und Z ϭ 9. In den zentrosymmetrischen Dreikernkomplexen [{(L)Cl 4 ReϵN} 2 PtCl 2 ] 2Ϫ ist ein lineares PtCl 2 -Molekül in Transanordnung über asymmetrische Nitridobrücken ReϵN-Pt mit zwei Komplex-Fragmenten [(L)Cl 4 ReϵN] Ϫ verknüpft, so daß sich eine quadratisch-planare Baugruppe PtCl 2 N 2 ergibt. Die linearen Nitridobrücken sind durch Abstände Re-N ϭ 169,5 pm und Synthesis and Crystal Structure of the Nitrido Complexes [(n-Bu) 4 N] 2 [{(L)Cl 4 ReϵN} 2 PtCl 2 ] (L ؍ THF, H 2 O) and [(n-Bu) 4 N] 2 [(H 2 O)Cl 4 ReϵN-PtCl(µ-Cl)] 2 Abstract. The threenuclear complex [(n-Bu) 4 N] 2 [{(THF)Cl 4 ReϵN} 2 -PtCl 2 ] (1a) is obtained by the reaction of [(n-Bu) 4 N][ReNCl 4 ] with [PtCl 2 (C 6 H 5 CN) 2 ] in THF/CH 2 Cl 2 . It forms red crystals with the composition 1a • 2 CH 2 Cl 2 crystallizing in the tetragonal space group I4 1 /a with a ϭ 3186.7(2); c ϭ 1311.2(1) pm and Z ϭ 8. If the reaction of the educts is carried out without THF, however under exposure to air the compound [(n-Bu) 4 N] 2 [{(H 2 O)Cl 4 ReϵN} 2 PtCl 2 ] (1b) is obtained as red trigonal crystals with the space group R3 ¯and a ϭ 3628.3(3), c ϭ 1231.4(1) pm and Z ϭ 9. In the centrosymmetric complex anions [{(L)Cl 4 ReϵN} 2 PtCl 2 ] 2Ϫ a linear PtCl 2 moiety is connected in a trans arrangement with two complex fragments [(L)Cl 4 ReϵN] Ϫ via asymmetric nitrido bridges ReϵN-Pt. For Pt II such results a square-planar coordination PtCl 2 N 2 . The linear nitrido bridges are characterized by distances Re-N ϭ 169.5 pm and Pt-N ϭ 188.8 pm (1a), respectively, Re-N ϭ 165.6 pm and Pt-N ϭ 194.1 pm (1b).
