Celui-ci est isole du distillat par saturation par (NH,)2S0,. Aprks sBchage sur CaCI, et distillation, on recueille 13,2 g (6.4%) d'oxadiazole, Eb. 87".

Some Nformyl-formamidoxime (VII) is formed during this reaction. Isolated by the salting out of its aqueous solution the crude oxadiazole is purified by means of its addition product with CdCl,, which yields pure oxadiazole by steam distillation and subsequent salting out.
