✦ Synopsis

Synthesis of Some Diamides of Phloionic Acid and of Phloionic Acid Dihydrazide Synthesis of some diamides of phloionic acid and of phloionic acid dihydrazide is reported. lnvestigations on the solubility of the obtained compounds in water are described, and the qualification as emulsifying agents is tested on hydrocarbon gel (Vaseline) -water systems. Application of some diamides of phloionic acid is more efficient for obtaining emulsions than corresponding phloionic esters.
