Abstract

1,3‐Diphenyl‐2,8‐dihydrodibenz[e.h]azulen (1) wird durch Bromierung und nachfolgende Bromabspaltung mit elementarem Silber in 1,3‐Dihenyldibenz[e.h]azulen (2), ein neuartiges Ringsystem mit 18 π‐Electronen, umgewandelt.
