## Abstract Es wurde das 1‐(3,4‐Dimethoxy‐benzyl)‐5,6‐dimethoxy‐isochinolin synthetisiert; dabei zeigte es sich, dass es mit der von __E. Schlittler__ und __J. Müller__ dargestellten Base (Smp. 222–223° Pikrat, Smp. 233—234°) nicht identisch ist.
