Inhaltsu È bersicht. Bei der Umsetzung von [RuCl 3 (PPh 2 Me) 3 ] mit NaOCN in EtOH bildet sich [Ru(CO)H(NCO) (PPh 2 Me) 3 ]. Die Verbindung kristallisiert monoklin in der Raumgruppe P2 1 /n mit a = 1256,4(4), b = 1487,2(2), c = 1993,5(5) pm, b = 97,28(1)°, Z = 4. Im verzerrt oktedrischen Ru II -Komplex sind die Phosphanliganden meridional koordiniert. Die P-Atome befinden sich mit dem Hydridwasserstoffatom in einer Ebene. Bei der Reaktion von [RuCl 3 (PPh 3 ) 2 ] mit NaOCN in EtOH entsteht [Ru(NCO)(CO)(CH 3 COO)(PPh 3 ) 2 ], in dessen Koordinationsspha È re die beiden Ph 3 P-Liganden transsta È ndig angeordnet sind. Bei der Bildung beider Komplexe sind Reaktionen mit dem Lo È sungsmittel Ursache fu È r das Entstehen der Carbonyl-, Hydrid-bzw. Acetatoliganden. Synthesis, Characterization, and Structure of Carbonyl and Hydrido Isocyanato Complexes of Ruthenium Abstract. [Ru(CO)H(NCO)(PPh 2 Me) 3 ] is formed during the reaction between [RuCl 3 (PPh 2 Me) 3 ] and NaOCN in EtOH. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2 1 /n (a = 1256.4(4), b = 1487.2(2), c = 1993.5(5) pm, b = 97.28(1)°, Z = 4). The distorted octahedral coordination sphere of Ru II contains the phosphine ligands in meridional arrangement, their P atoms forming a plane together with the hydride ligand. The reaction of [RuCl 3 (PPh 3 ) 2 ] with NaOCN in EtOH yields [Ru(NCO)(CO)(CH 3 COO)(PPh 3 ) 2 ] with trans coordinated Ph 3 P ligands. The formation of hydrido, carbonyl and acetato ligands are due to the reaction of the transition metal with the solvent ethanol.
