โœฆ Synopsis

The role played by symmetry properties of a carbon
nanotube in the generation of second harmonic radiation is studied
by using the formalism of irreducible representation of the
symmetry point group. Experimental results of second harmonic
generation in a carbon nanotube sample are discusses in view of
the theoretical prediction obtained.

This paper deals with relations between solvent diffusion and changes in second harmonic generation (SHG) in a side-group polymer with nonlinear optical (NLO) chromophores. The SHG signal of poled polymer thin films was measured as a function of time during the swelling process with methanol. The re

## Abstract In this paper we report a spectroelectrochemical investigationโ€”relevant to the elucidation of rebar corrosion processesโ€”based on in situ optical secondโ€harmonic generation spectroscopy. We studied the corrosion behaviour of a carbon steel electrode in contact with an alkaline aqueous so
