✦ Synopsis

Total symmetric electron transfer cross secrions for state-selected Hz ions were measured for vibrational levels of the ion from u = 0 to 10 af a relative uanslational energy of 16 eV. The internal energ of the rz ions was selected by thresllold photoclccrron-photoion coincidence using pulsed synchrotron radiation from the AC0 storage ring at Orsay. The relntive cross sections agree very well with the recent c;tlcuhtions of Lee zmd DePristo using a senklassicaf cner_~~ conserving trajectory approach with an accurate diabatic interaction potential between the ion and neutral diatoms.
