β¦ Synopsis
The surface-enhanced resonance Raman scattering (SERRS) spectra of tetrakis(4-N-methylpyridyl)porphine (TMPyP( )) adsorbed on Ag colloids were measured and compared with the resonance Raman scattering (RRS) spectra of TMPyP(4). The surface spectra evidenced the conversion of the adsorbed porphine to Ag(IHTMPyP(4) at pH 7.4 and a conformational change of the adsorbate pH 3.1.
