## Abstract SERS and SERRS spectra in aqueous silver sol for Ru(II) polypyridine complexes with 2,2′‐bipyridine (bpy) and 1,1′‐biisoquinoline (Q) [Ru(bpy), RuQ, Ru(bpy)~2~Q^2+^ and Ru(bpy)Q] were observed with 457.9, 488.0, 514.5 and 632.8 nm excitation. The vibrational modes of the conjugated ring
