## Abstract Layered double hydroxides (LDHβs), also known as anionic clays, are lamellar inorganic solids. The structure of most of them corresponds to that of mineral hydrotalcite, consisting of brucite-like hydroxide sheets, where partial substitution of trivalent or divalent cations results in a
