✦ Synopsis
The transport properties of lfigh-T, oxide-superconductor Nd2_,Ce~CuO~ single-crystM thin fihns were investigated to clarify the superconductor-insulator transition in two-dimensional disordered system. It is found that the critical sheet resistance P~ at the onset of superconductivity takes a value wiLhin a range from 6kft to 8kf~, which is close to the value h/4c-~=6.45ks2. Our experiments provide with an interesting system for revealing the physical origin of the superconductor-insulator transition.
