The analytical solution and a method of calculation is Riven for the case of N successive extractions with solids of spherical geometry held in perfectly mixed, tinite batch extractors. The parameters which detine the conditions of the process may vary from one extraction to another. The results for the case with constant and equal parameters in all of the extractions are presented in dimensionless plots for direct use; N varies from 2-10.
