## Abstract Congenital anomalies of the inferior vena cava are rare and usually of no clinical significance. The presence of a duplicated inferior vena cava (D‐IVC) has an incidence rate ranging from 0.3% to 3% and is a result of an embryological misadventure. Typically, the primitive cardinal vein
