Existing methods for time step control in TLM diffusion modelling that are based on the 'm' parameter introduced by Pulko are shown to be inappropriate for problems where the load conditions are arbitrarily time-varying. A new parameter is proposed for monitoring the error in the TLM diffusion model

Abstract
A simple method is described for spatial substructuring of meshes used in TLM diffusion routines in such a way as to enable discontinuous mesh lines to be used. A method of operating TLM diffusion routines using different timesteps in different spatial regions is also described. For both aspects, results are compared with those derived using standard TLM techniques.

## Abstract We consider a general linear reactionβdiffusion system in three dimensions and time, containing diffusion (local interaction), jumps (nonlocal interaction) and memory effects. We prove a maximum principle and positivity of the solution and investigate its asymptotic behavior. Moreover,
How fast and how long (and to what magnitude) does a change in housing prices in one region affect its neighbors? In this paper, I apply a time series technique for measuring impulse response functions from local projections to a spatial autoregressive model of housing prices. For a dynamic panel of
