## Abstract Corrosion inhibition of commercial copper and cold‐worked and annealed α‐brass (Cu/Zn : 69/31) in acid chloride solutions by some 2‐aminothiazole derivatives was studied by weight loss, polarization and capacitance measurements. The study includes the effect of substituent type at posit
