## Abstract This study sought to establish a method of quantifying subjective perceptions of sleep against perceptions of life‐quality and mood, using amended versions of the Pittsburgh sleep diary (PghSD) and quality of life of insomniacs (QOLI) questionnaire. Diaries and questionnaires were self‐
