โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
A case of a well-differentiated subcutaneous liposarcoma, followed after an interval of over 8 years by a poorly differentiated myxoid liposarcoma of the omentum, is described. It is not possible to conclude whether this is a case of multicentricity or metastasis. From the review of the literature this appears to be the second case of subcutaneous liposarcoma reported.

## BACKGROUND. Liposarcoma is one of the most common histologic types of soft tissue sarcoma and presents a wide spectrum of clinical behavior. The authors examined the correlation among histologic subtypes, outcomes, and patterns of recurrence among patients with extremity liposarcomas. ## METHO
Comparative genomic hybridization (CGH) was used to detect and map the regions of gain, high-level amplification, and loss of DNA sequences in 14 liposarcomas. Thirteen tumors showed DNA sequence copy number changes of one or more genomic regions (mean, six aberrationdtumor; range, 0-1 7). These abe
Inflammatory liposarcoma is an unusual variant of well-differentiated liposarcoma. We report on the fine-needle aspiration (FNA) cytology findings of a retroperitoneal well-differentiated inflammatory liposarcoma from a 63-yr-old white female. The smears showed numerous dispersed inflammatory cells,
