โฆ Synopsis
We describe a patient with a subarachnoid hemorrhage that presented with electrocardiographic evidence of transmural myocardial infarction. The patient was found to have normal coronaries and on autopsy revealed generalized myocytolysis with no evidence of transmural myocardial infarction. This case illustrates the value of acute coronary angiography in patients with altered mental status and suspected myocardial infarction. o 1996 Wiley-Liss, inc.

We describe two cases of diffuse alveolar hemorrhage and development of ARDS in patients who underwent percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) with stenting in whom Abciximab (ReoPro TM ) was used in combination with other agents interfering with the hemostatic mechanism. Stent implantation in the setting of failed rescue angiopiasty after failed thromboiytic therapy for acute myocardial infarction Is considered a high-risk procedure, because of the possibliity of stent thrombosis. Withholding anticoagulation in such a patient who also has a bleeding dlathesis may fu
