Previous studies have shown that the interaction of carboxylic acid groups with the amine functionalities of aryl amines, especially secondary and tertiary aryl amines, can lead to the free-radical polymerization of acrylic monomers such as methyl methacrylate. In this study, the Michael addition re

β¦ Synopsis
Gas chromatography Mass spectrometry Reactions of organomercurials interpreted
Previous studies of organomercury compounds by gas chromatography showed these compounds to behave in an unexpected way [l-41. The GClMS results obtained for a halide whose purity had been checked by a direct probe indicated the presence of organomercury chloride, bromide, and iodide [5-71. In the present work, we report some additional problems indicated by the chromatograms obtained for mixtures of ethylmercury chloride (EMC) and diphenylmercury (DPM), methylmercury chloride (MMC), and diphenylmercury (DPM).
