Abstract

Wool waxes, previously investigated for their general flow characteristics, were studied here for their thixotropic behaviour as a function of animal breed and geographical locality. The data obtained showed that the breed as well as the geographical locality of the animals have got a pronounced effect on the phenomenon of thixotropy.
