✦ Synopsis

The temperature dependences of electrical conductivity and the Seebeck coefficient for some new aromatic polysulfones are investigated. Measurements were performed using thin films deposited from the solution, and it was found that the polymers studied show semiconducting properties. Some correlation between these properties and the chemical structure and molecular weights of the polymers are established. The nature of the electrical conduction mechanism in the investigated polymers is discussed.

## Abstract The studied polymers (chelate modified polysulfones) have been prepared by the polycondensation reaction between chloro‐end‐capped polysulfones and bis(2,4‐dihydroxybenzaldehyde)Cu^2+^ in the dymethyl sulfoxide/dichlormethane system, in the presence of an aqueous sodium hydroxide soluti

We report here the physico-chemical changes brought about by high electronic energy deposition of gold ions in HCl doped polyaniline (PANI) thin films. PANI thin films were synthesized by in situ polymerization technique. The as-synthesized PANI thin films of thickness 160 nm were irradiated using A
