During expulsion by guniea-pigs of both first and second infections with the intestinal nematode parasite Trichostrongylus colubriformis, increased numbers of basophils and eosinophils were present in the bone marrow and blood. In addition, increased numbers of basophils, mast cells and eosinophils,
