The preparation of triphenylmono‐ and diphenyldi‐p‐styrenyl derivatives of germanium, tin and lead is described. The infra‐red spectra of these compounds are discussed.

## Abstract It has been shown that di‐__p__‐styrenyl derivatives of germanium, tin, and lead as well as 1,4‐divinylbenzene and 3,9‐divinylspirobi(__meta__‐dioxan) react with diphenyltin dihydride to yield linear poly‐addition polymers containing tin or tin and germanium or lead in the main polymer
