## Abstract Of the various theories proposed for auxin activity, the conformational change theory and the charge separation theory have received considerable attention. However, no conclusive theory collating molecular structure with hormonal activity has yet been established. We have studied the s

The structure-activity relationships for selected peptide juvenoids of the general formula \(\mathrm{R}^{1}-\mathrm{CONHCH}\left(\mathrm{R}^{3}\right) \mathrm{CONH}-\mathrm{C}_{6} \mathrm{H}_{4}-\mathrm{R}^{2}\) were analyzed by using linear free energy relationships. It was found that both the hydr
