A~tract--Mechanical properties of blends of nylon-6 with a liquid crystal copolyesteramide (LCP) are presented. The improvement of the elastic modulus increases with increasing the draw ratio. Fibrils of LCP are evident when the draw ratio >40. The moduli are lower than those predicted by the theory

The effect of processing temperature on the low-speed tensile and high-speed impact properties of novel ABS/PET blends was investigated. In agreement with the conclusions from related studies of ABS/PC blends, it appears that catalytic impurities in the ABS accentuate the propensity of PET for chain
A~traet--Melt blends of polypropylene(PP)/nylon-6, PP/nylon-6/(maleic anhydride-g-polypropylene-(MAH-g-PP)) and (MAH-g-PP)/nylon-6 have been prepared using a Brabender plasticoder. Measured properties included steady shear viscosities from a capillary rheometer, thermal properties from DSC, and morp
