## Two novel coordination polymers associated with indium and cadmium ions respectively thiophene-2,5-dicarboxylic acid), were prepared under hydrothermal conditions, and characterized by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction, element analysis, IR and luminescence spectra. Compound 1 displayed an i
