โฆ Synopsis
Two novel coordination polymers associated with indium and cadmium ions respectively
thiophene-2,5-dicarboxylic acid), were prepared under hydrothermal conditions, and characterized by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction, element analysis, IR and luminescence spectra. Compound 1 displayed an interesting 2D lattice structure, consisted of indium ions, OH ร anions and TCA ligands. In 2, seven coordinated cadmium ions were bridged by TCA ligands to generate 1D chain. The luminescent properties for 1, 2 and the TCA ligand have also been explored.
