The 3t P and 13C spectra of the trlply t3C labcllcd molecules (CH&P, (CII&PO, (CH3)3PS and (Cl-i3)3PSc onentcd in a ncmatlc phase arc reportcd. The C-I'-C bond angles hdve been measured. The 31P chemical shift tensor shows a large amsotropy except tn the ca5c of (CII3)3P. The abnormal large V&K observed for the P:Se bond length suggests B large amsotropy of the tJ(P-Sc) spin couphng.
