✦ Synopsis

Dynamrcal behavior of the coupled system of molecular orientations and acoustic phonons is investigated in order to provide a descrrption of the structural phase transition in s-triazine, s-triazine molecular reorientations are in the fast relaxation limit. A softening of the acoustic phonon frequencies is found as T -Tc.
