Abstract

Coherence transfer methods, such as multiple‐relayed COSY and homonuclear Hartman–Hahn spectroscopy, were applied to extract subspectra of constituent monosaccharides, which allowed complete assignments of the proton resonances of oligosaccharide chains of glycolipids. The chemical structure of oligosaccharide chains of glycolipids could be determined by the combination of coherence transfer methods and NOESY experiments.

## Abstract Sequential analysis of oligosaccharide structures can be achieved by semiselective NMR‐pulse techniques. Gaussianshaped pulses combined with multistep‐relayed coherence transfer and NOE have been used to determine the sequence and assign the carbohydrate resonances of lanatoside C.

In the present paper a comprehensive microstructure analysis of PMMA based on the combination of one-dimensional and twodimensional (TOCSY, HSQC, and HMBC) NMR experiments is reported. To resolve complex resonance assignments, empirical chemical shift modeling supported by the 2D NMR spectroscopy ha
