✦ Synopsis

Abstract

A synthesis of the antibiotically active amino acid, δ‐N‐hydroxy‐L‐arginine, starting from L‐ornithine is described. In addition a new synthesis of δ‐N‐hydroxy‐L‐ornithine, an important building stone of many sideramines, is given.
