In bistable magnetic wires, the switching ΓΏeld H \* is an applied magnetic ΓΏeld su cient to remagnetise a wire. The spectrum of the uctuations of H \* depends on temperature. We demonstrate that this e ect leads to a maximum of the thermal dependence of the amplitude of the wire magnetisation.
