✦ Synopsis
Stimulated emission of vibrationally excited OH* from levels Y = 3 and 2 has been obtained by puts4 electric discharges through 03 -Hz -He mixtures. A transverse discharge system was used at energies of 5 J/discharge and ==120 nscc current pulse duration. The laser pulse started with a delay of = 15 psec after the discharge and k&cd for -4 psec. Discharging 03 -HI mixtures alone produced also OH* emission but non-stimuhted.
