✦ Synopsis
Stereoregularity parameters are measured by different i.r. methods for samples of polypropylene, obtained with catalytic systems MC13-AIEt 3 (M = Ti, V, Cr and Fe). The degree of stereoregularity of the fractions of these polymers insoluble in boiling n-heptane and n-octane decreases in the order :~-TiC13 ~-f-TiC13 > CrC13 > VCI 3 > FeCI3 which is close to the order of the decrease of M-C1 and M-M distances in the MCI 3 lattices.
