✦ Synopsis
DAdgNE, the Frascati C-factory, at present under commissioning, will produce large numbers of K-meson pairs in a pure quantum states. Such kaons are invaluable for the study of CP violation, an outstanding problem in particle physics for the last thirty years. The KLOE detector, soon to be completed, has as its main missions the study of the CP and CPT symmetries plus a whole spectrum of other physics obtainable from the collected data.
