We explore the ability of future Sunyaev-ZelÕdovich cluster surveys to constrain the nature of dark energy. We perform a likelihood analysis and put constraints on a constant and evolving equation of state in the dark energy fluid. We discuss effects of uncertainties in the mass-temperature relation
