✦ Synopsis

A new statistical procedure is described which permits the direct, quantitative comparison of alternative physical models for a set of experimental results. Its reliability is demonstrated through a computer simulation study, and its usefulness is illustrated in the analysis of nonlinear van? Hoff and Arrhenius plots for selected cases of steroidprotein binding and enzyme catalysis.

## Abstract Recently __ab initio__ protein structure prediction methods have advanced sufficiently so that they often assemble the correct low resolution structure of the protein. To enhance the speed of conformational search, many __ab initio__ prediction programs adopt a reduced protein represent

A protocol for the rapid energetic analysis of protein-ligand complexes has been developed. This protocol involves the generation of protein-ligand complex ensembles followed by an analysis of the binding free energy components. We apply this methodology toward understanding the origin of binding sp

Endogenous ligands complicate radioligand-binding assays of high-affinity binding proteins by obscuring binding sites or by diluting the labeled ligand. We have developed a mathematical model for such systems where radioligand and endogenous ligand are structurally identical. Data which relate radio
