β¦ Synopsis
From the aerial part of a Vietnamese medicinal plant, Orthosiphon stamineus BENTH. (Lamiaceae), staminol A (1), a diterpene with a novel carbon framework, was isolated together with four new isopimarane-type diterpenes, orthosiphols F--I (2---5). Their structures were elucidated by the spectroscopic analyses.
