β¦ Synopsis
A stable and tunable S-band erbium-doped fiber (EDF) double-ring laser has been proposed and experimentally demonstrated. Based on the double-ring configuration, the EDF ring laser exhibits more stable output wavelengths and powers than those of the single-ring. Wide tunable range of 1484-1518 nm, the side-mode suppression ratio (SMSR) of larger than 44.7 dB/0.05 nm and the output power of larger than Γ2.2 dB m over the operation range of 1484-1510 nm have been retrieved.

We propose and demonstrate experimentally a single-longitudinal-mode (SLM) fiber double-ring laser using an Erbium-doped waveguide amplifier (EDWA), polarization controller (PC), and a fiber Fabry-Perot tunable filter (FFP-TF) into the ring cavity. In addition, the output power, side-mode suppressio
This paper presents an ultra wideband tunable silicabased erbium doped fiber ring laser (EDFRL) that can be continuously tuned in S and C+L bands from 1475 to 1619 nm. It is the first time that a fiber ring laser's tuning range reaches 144 nm using a standard silica-based C-band erbium-doped fiber a
In this investigation, we propose and demonstrate a stable and wavelength-tunable erbium-doped fiber (EDF) ring laser scheme with external-injected Fabry-Perot laser diode (FP-LD) technology, in single-longitudinal-mode (SLM) output behavior. Here, the output power and side-mode suppression ratio (S

In this investigation, we propose and demonstrate experimentally tunable and stable dual-wavelength erbium doped fiber (EDF) double-ring laser scheme using different coupling losses inside cavity loop for wavelength and mode spacing tuning. Besides, a shorter unpumped EDF is also used to filter the
