✦ Synopsis

Up to now there could be detected in wine more than 50 inorganic constituents (8 mineral components, 25 trace elements and 20 ultratrace elements). The most important results relevant to wine are summarized in a traceelement vinogram (e.g., thallium). The traceelement content of "historical" wines ("Oenologische Probenbank") shows that wines to-day have a high standard of purity.
