โฆ Synopsis
SPONTANEOUS dislocation may occur in any acute arthritis of the hip-joint as a complication. Cases1 are recorded of dislocation in typhoid fever, rheumatism, scarlatina, and other exanthemuta, as a result of acute non-suppurative infective arthritis. The following case is of interest on account of its occurrence during an attack of bacillary dysentery and its unusual termination.
