โฆ Synopsis
IN view of the fact that bilateral traumatic dislocation of the hips is a rare condition, less than IOO cases having been reported in the literature, the following account of a case, which was recently admitted to the Sheffield Royal Infirmary, may be of interest and worthy of note :- HISTORY.-E. P., a male, aged 50, was admitted to the Sheffield Royal Infirmary, under Mr. F. W. Holdsworth, on October 17, 1938. He was sitting as a passenger in the front seat of a lorry, with both feet directed to the right, when a head-on collision occurred with another vehicle. This caused the front of the lorry to be driven in, with the result that his legs were pushed backwards and to the left, whilst his trunk was flung forwards and to the right.
