β¦ Synopsis
A new method for matching line drawings is presented. First, the "neighboring relation" between line segments is defined. The neighboring relation defined here is not a topological relation such as an intersection, but a general geometric relation between a pair of (spatially separated) line segments. In the matching process, geometric properties of neighboring line segments are used as "matching keys," and clustering in the parameter space is used to determine the geometric transformation between line drawings. Several experimental results are given to show the versatility of the matching algorithm.

We study generalized ordered spaces in which every closed subspace is r-embedded and which satisfy the Dugundji Extension Theorem. We prove: Let X be a perfectly normal generalized ordered space in which the set E(X) = {z E X: Then every closed subspace of X is n-embedded. Furthermore, for every cl
Digital signal processors provide specialized SIMD (single instruction multiple data) operations designed to dramatically increase performance in embedded systems. While these operations are simple to understand, their unusual functions and their parallelism make it difficult for automatic code gene
