Time-resolved photoluminescence and transient photobleaching studies in the ~/-polymorph of linear trans-quinacridone (QAC) are reported. A dramatic change in the luminescence spectrum is observed with subnanosecond delays. Fluorescence excitation spectra support the hypothesis on the different orig
