Abstract
The ion acoustic soliton has been investigated in spherical and cylindrical geometry in a warm plasma having two electron components each described by a Boltzmann distribution. It has been shown that both potential hump and potential dip are possible in this case.

Excitation of nonlinear waves in a quantum dusty plasma with various effects is analyzed when the geometry is cylindrical. This introduces the effect of finite boundary conditions on the solitary waves so generated. it is observed that the nonlinear equation deduced is cylindrical KP-Burger type lead
The evolutions of the planar and axisymmetric vortex sheets generated by the impulsive motion of a cylinder and a sphere, respectively, are compared numerically. The numerical method addresses difficulties that occur in the axisymmetric case near the axis of symmetry. The planar vortex sheet is know
